Electrical changing system of AGV is to change the battery with lower electric electricity to ensure the smooth operation of AGV, which mainly consists of AGV, electrical changing equipment, battery charger bracket, battery charger and electrical control.
Workflow of AGV electrical changing system:
In the system, electrical changing system is the mainframe of AGV electrical changing equipment, together with battery charger bracket, and AGV, which moves on the guide rail and possesses the functions of lifting and pulling. It is able to repeatedly run in three-dimensional space (horizontally, vertically and stretching out and drawing back on single side) to achieve the battery change for AGV according to certain sequence combination.
As for the AGV with insufficient electric quantity, it stops at the station in electrical changing zone and requests electrical changing system to change the battery.
Through the control of electrics system, electrical changing equipment is able to transport the battery of AGV with insufficient electric quantity to the electrical changing equipment;
Electrical changing equipment will transport the battery with insufficient electric quantity to the unoccupied location of battery charger bracket.
Electrical changing equipment will pull the unit back to a designated location. The cylinder on the battery is stretching out to trigger the button on the electrical charger bracket for charging.
Electrical changing equipment will also pull the fully charged battery out.
And then, the electrical changing equipment will transport the fully charged battery to AGV.
